Hoda Kotb is a current host of the Today show. She has been host since 2007 of the Fourth Hour of the Today show, and the first two hours since 2017, replacing Matt Lauer alongside Savannah Guthrie. She is with co-host Kathie Lee Gifford for the fourth hour. She is the first host of the fourth hour of Today.
Hoda's first thing to do with NBC was in 1998 with Dateline NBC. In 2007 the Today show announced that they will have a 4th hour going from 10am-11am. They also announced that the first host's of the 4th hour would be Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford. Hoda Kotb is known as the "Wine Lovers" according to the Dont Stop Believing "Viral Video". Hoda is still host of the Today Show and still works for Dateline NBC.
In 2017, after Matt Lauer's firing, she was Matt's replacement, and it was made official on January 2, 2018 that she would continue hosting the first two hours of TODAY.
